Detailed day-by-day itinerary

This itinerary is designed as a tailor-made journey. Exact departure times, park routing, meal arrangements and activities can be refined around your dates and accommodation confirmation.

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Meet your guide on arrival in Nairobi. Depending on your flight time, visit the Giraffe Centre or enjoy a relaxed city experience before checking in at your Nairobi accommodation. Overnight in Nairobi.

Accommodation: Nairobi hotel (B&B)

Day 2: Nairobi – Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, depart Nairobi for the Maasai Mara. Arrive around midday, check in and have lunch before an afternoon game drive across the reserve. Return to camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Accommodation: Kambu Mara

Day 3: Full Day Maasai Mara

Start with an early morning game drive, then continue with a full day exploring the Mara’s plains and riverine areas. Search for lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, giraffes and other wildlife. Picnic lunch or lodge lunch depending on the day’s plan. Return in the evening.

Accommodation: Kambu Mara

Day 4: Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru / Naivasha

After breakfast, depart the Mara and travel towards the Rift Valley. Depending on the final routing, enjoy a Lake Nakuru wildlife experience focused on rhinos, birdlife and the lake ecosystem, then continue to Naivasha for the night.

Accommodation: Dove Nest Lodge Naivasha

Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, continue towards Amboseli with lunch arranged en route. Arrive later in the day and enjoy an afternoon game drive if time permits, with views across the Amboseli plains.

Accommodation: AA Lodge Amboseli

Day 6: Full Day Amboseli

Early morning game drive followed by breakfast. Continue exploring the park’s swamps, plains and wildlife corridors, with time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. Return for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Final Amboseli Drive & Departure

Enjoy a final sunrise game drive, breakfast and check-out. Transfer to Nairobi or your onward destination according to your travel schedule.
